Pickup hubWe opened this one in 2019, wedged happily between Bucktown's bakeries and bookstores. It quickly became our pickup hub — most online orders are wrapped and waiting here in about two hours.

A human wraps it by hand — kraft paper, real ribbon — and texts when it's ready. Usually within two hours.
Grab it at the counter
Say the name, take the gift, go be someone's favorite person. Street parking karma not included.

Where the whole thing started
The originalMaren Ellison opened the first Fernwood on Division Street in 2005 — a few shelves of things she couldn't stop buying for friends. The shelves won. The website joined in 2008; the creaky floorboard by the cards is original and staying.
