The story behind the studio
I read 3,000 case studies before I ran my first campaign.
Most agency founders tell origin stories about a moment of clarity. Mine wasn’t a moment. It was an obsession. Starting in 2018, I read every digital marketing teardown I could find — Drift, Ahrefs, Demand Curve, Sabri Suby, Tropical MBA, Nathan Barry, every Hormozi breakdown, every Foundr issue. Over five years, I worked through more than 3,000 of them. Most agencies sell what they were taught. I sold what I’d studied — and tested — for half a decade before I took the first paying client.
That obsession was the wedge. When a freelance client’s account got suspended, I’d already read the recovery teardown. When a D2C brand needed cold launch creative, I’d already studied the buyer-research framework. Speed compounded. By 2021, I was running PPC, SEO, and brand work for clients across India. By 2024, I’d shipped 300+ engagements. By 2025, the freelance model had outgrown itself. Clicknify is what came next — a small senior team, the same standards, premium engagements only.
The studio exists for one buyer: the founder who has already been burned by a cheaper agency, knows the work matters, and wants to stop juggling four vendors who don’t talk to each other. Impressions, reach, "brand awareness," "engagement" — these are deliverables, not outcomes. Every engagement is anchored to one number that, if it moves, the founder’s business moves. If we can’t agree on that number inside the first 30 minutes, the engagement isn’t ready to start.
